The Mechanics of Slab Jacking
Often referred to within the industry as mudjacking or polyurethane slab lifting, this remedial process is incredibly precise. We drill a sequence of small, strategically positioned injection ports into the depressed slab. Subsequently, we pump a highly specialized, expanding cementitious slurry (or a two-part structural polyurethane foam) directly into the subterranean voids. As this material violently expands beneath the slab, it generates sufficient hydraulic pressure to smoothly lift the massive concrete structure back to its original, mathematically level orientation.
The Economics of Leveling
Executing a leveling operation is remarkably cost-effective, typically demanding 50% to 70% less capital than a comprehensive tear-out and repour. Furthermore, the operational velocity is unmatched; the vast majority of interventions are fully completed within a few hours, and the stabilized surface can safely resume bearing heavy vehicular traffic almost instantaneously.
